Exhibits at the U.S. Pavilion Mark a Journey of Progress and Innovation

The American Journey gallery in the U.S. Pavilion complements The Franklin Spirit presentation, with exhibits marking milestones on a journey of progress and innovation. Among the exhibits in the gallery is a true-to-life replica of the 1902 Wright Glider created by Orville and Wilbur Wright as they developed the first airplane. Other exhibits include displays of fascinating new images received daily from missions to Mars and Saturn, a Fuel Cell exhibit that explores a solution for meeting future energy demands, and a vision of future automotive technology presented by General Motors.

Through these and other examples of human progress, The American Journey gallery shows us that nature has many lessons to teach, whether we are reaching out to explore distant planets in the depths of outer space or solving pressing global problems here on Earth.

The American Journey gallery features exhibits marking a journey of progress and innovation.
